How to Disconnect the Alarm in a Honda Odyssey
The Honda Odyssey comes with a car alarm to protect against car theft. If you want to disable the car alarm from your Honda Odyssey, you need to take the power away from the alarm. The car alarm is wired directly into the cars battery. Disconnecting the negative lead from the Odysseys battery will disable the alarm. You dont have to be a certified mechanic to disable your car alarm. You can easily do it yourself with little hassle.

Release the hood latch on the inside of the Honda Odyssey to gain access to the motor and the battery.
2Locate the negative terminal connected to the battery. The negative terminal will be labeled with "-" next to it.
3Use a socket wrench or a pair of channel locks to loosen the connection to the battery terminal.
4Remove the negative battery terminal from the battery to disable the car alarm.
